I am excited to announce that online tickets are now available for the official WVU Tailgate @ TCU, sponsored by DFW Mountaineers. 

West Virginia University Tailgate Ticket includes:

• BBQ dinner
• Pre-game celebration with fellow Mountaineer fans
• Short walk to Amon G Carter Stadium
• Special appearance by the WVU Mountaineer

Tailgate details:

• Saturday, October 7 - 11:30 AM CT (Game time: 2:30 PM CT)
• Tailgate location: Grassy area outside of tennis courts, near lot 14
• Advance admission price: $40 for adults, $20 for children under 12

As you're aware, Hurricane Harvey has dropped record amounts of rainfall on the Gulf Coast over the past week and many people are displaced. DFW Mountaineers will be supporting the Salvation Army to help those in need, and I am requesting your assistance.

If you would like to help, please donate one or more of the following items:

• Cases of bottled water
• Cases of Gatorade
• Granola bars
• New Toothbrushes
• New Toothpaste
• New and unopened disposable diapers
• New and unopened disposable baby wipes

Please bring your donations to the WVU v. Va Tech game watch this weekend (Sun, Sep 3rd @ Buffalo Joe's).

We will deliver all of the collected items to the Salvation Army, who will transport them to the Gulf Coast areas for distribution.

For those who want to donate money instead, we ask you to consider contributing directly to the Houston Food Bank.

We're happy to announce that we will be selling t-shirts with our new chapter logo. All shirts will by navy blue and are available in men’s, women's, and youth sizes and can be purchased for $20 each ($15 for youth sizes).

In order to deliver the shirts by the end of football season, t-shirt orders will be available through 10 pm on Monday, November 7.

WVU Alumni Association re-branding and harmonization of Chapter marks

​The WVU Alumni Association is in the process of modernizing its brand to make it more distinct and impactful. As part of this effort, the Chapter wordmarks and spirit marks are being harmonized as well. I'm excited to share the newly-minted DFW Mountaineers brand.
