Membership is open to West Virginia University alumni, family, friends, and all Mountaineer fans. Dues may be paid online by clicking the button below.

Your dues help offset the operating costs of the local chapter, including internet domain name registration (www.dfwmountaineers.org), email & web hosting, advertising, mailing, and other essential administrative functions. They also enable the chapter to purchase raffle prizes for game-watching parties and provide deposits for social functions.

Remember, the chapter is run entirely by volunteers like you. No member receives any payment for work on behalf of the chapter.
As an alternative to online payment, dues may be paid via check by mailing completed membership form, below, with payment.

  • Game watch parties for football and select basketball games
  • Coordinated events at local Big 12 schools such as TCU, Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State (all are within 4 hours of the metroplex); additional post-season events are periodically held at the American Airlines Center (Dallas) and AT&T Stadium (Arlington)
  • Community service events and fundraising activities for the DFW Mountaineers Alumni Chapter Scholarship, Pride of West Virginia, North Texas Food Bank, and Relay for Life
  • Ability to share the WVU experience with current high school students via the Old Gold, New Blue Campaign
  • Stay connected with WVU by networking with local area Mountaineer fans
