In order to give back to our alma mater and to the local community, the DFW Mountaineers have started a scholarship fund through the West Virginia University Foundation. Beginning with the 2015-16 school year, this fund will annually award a $1,000 scholarship to a WVU student from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Once endowed, it provide an annual scholarship each year in perpetuity.

We have raised $5,000 through major events over the past year and we need to raise an additional $20,000 to reach the endowment threshold. By making tax-deductible contributions directly to the WVU Foundation, you can help our scholarship reach this level. All personal donations will count towards MAC points, with one point per every $1,000. For those of you who make regular donations to the Foundation, we ask that you consider designating the Chapter’s scholarship as the beneficiary. We will publicly recognize these members unless they wish to remain anonymous.

Thanks to all of our fans for another great turnout Saturday for the first victory of the season. Join us Saturday morning as the Mountaineers make it two in a row with a win over Maryland. We will have quarterly WVU giveaways.
